Rock fans are in shock at the death of rock band member and leader of Linkin Park, Chester Bennington.
The rock star had previously spoken about his battle with depression and also gave hints on his attempt to commit suicide.
Chester was found dead at a private home in Palos Verdes Estates in Los Angeles, at about 9 a.m on Thursday, according to the Mirror.
A call was made to the police of a dead body in a house at Palos Verdes Estates, which was confirmed the rock star’s home.
Chester left behind his second wife Talinda and six children.
His bandmate and fellow frontman, Mike Shinoda, paid tribute to Chester just hours after the news broke.
They wrote: “Shocked and heartbroken, but it’s true. An official statement will come out as soon as we have one.”
It was reported that he hanged himself.
